I love going to the beach to sit and relax, read,(and people watch!) and work on my tan. I also enjoy boating (although, I don't have a boat!) Travel is my favorite thing, when time and finances allow! I appreciate good wine and food. I like to listen to lite jazz, soft rock, and some oldies (not into hard rock or rapp!) I really like going to concerts or live theatre when the opportunity presents itself. A good movie now and then is nice - either at the movie theater, or renting a DVD to watch at home. I'm very social, and like getting together with friends (or a date)for an evening out of dining and dancing, house parties, barbeques, or boating, etc. I also like to shop (typical female!), and like nice clothes (I like to look feminine!), nice home, etc. I also have two beautiful Himalayan cats.
My goal in joining "Plenty of Fish," is to meet a nice man (not overweight, and a non-smoker please)with whom I may eventually enjoy a long term relationship. My ideal man is a well educated professional (either working or retired), sociable with a good sense of humor, romantic, and a "Gentleman," who likes to get out and do things! (no couch potatoes - life is too short!) No "Players" please - been there, done that!
I think that I'm a nice, caring, giving, romantic, attractive and affectionate person, well spoken, easy to get along with, with a good sense of humor. I've learned alot from past relationships - most important is communication and
compromise.
I'm originally from Baltimore, but also lived in Dallas and then Boca Raton for many years. I just moved over to this coast a few years ago. I am not opposed to relocating, given the right situation.
Sorry, not interested in meeting a man with children under 18. Also, not into "bikes." I've neve been on one, and never intend to!

I think that the first date should be somewhat casual and informal (although I love getting dressed up!), in a setting where we can talk and get to know one another (definately not the movies!) Probably lunch, or for a drink at "cocktail" hour.
