**Yet another update- its currently 4 a.m., and after about six cups of coffee to stay awake, I've realized that a few people are not reading this profile. Look, not to be mean, I message anyone and pretty much everyone, I don't know Missouri, I'm from the south. I used to live about three miles from the beach in Mississippi, so if I message its because I'm looking for local people who know the area, someone who seems to share some of my ideas and hobbies, or someone who i think would be a great friend. And if you do get to know me, You'll find I'm very impulsive. If I see something and I think its something you'd like, I'm getting it no questions asked, Its not my way of buying you or your love its because I felt like it. Generally right afterward, I'm off on yet another hunt for something, but still if I do something, buy something, give out my phone number or otherwise e mail you. Don't take offense. if you get my phone number its because I want to talk to you. if you get a gift, its simply because I saw it and wanted you to have it. if I email you a question, its because something has confused me and I'd rather just hear it from the horse's mouth. And oh please for the love of god, gods, or whatever deity has your attention, if you get an e mail from me and don't respond, or plan to, delete the damn thing. remember this site can tell anyone if you've read it, and if you have deleted it. thank you and I welcome you back to the rest of mind numbing profile of mine. **

First off, I'm James Burkhalter, I'm 24 about to be 25, I'm a single father and yes I have custody. I have two girls, age two and three. And they are terrors. Mostly because I spoil them. But then again I work offshore and I don't get to see them for 28 days straight. Yes, I'm gone for a month at a time for work, so if you can't handle that or don't like talking with someone then I'm not the person for you. Not to be mean but truelly the only way you can get to know me is by talking. I'm only home for two weeks at a time and its very precious to me.

Well, I'd like to say what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a honest, independent, intelligent woman who can be more than just a bed partner (look, I don't care for one night stands, if thats the case, I'm fine by myself). I'm looking for my best friend. Not some one who walks in front of me, behind me, but beside me. I'll carry you when you need it, just as you'll help me along when I need it. And before I'm asked, NOOOOOOO, looks don't really matter.


Ok to a little history of me. I was born in the states, but grew up overseas in Sicily, I traveled around because of my family and didnt come back to the states much in that time. I graduated school at the tender age of 16 and joined the military when I was 17. I was in OIF by the time I was 18 so yeah, I've seen war I was with Third ID and Fourth ID in whats known as the first wave. Beyond that, I worked for NASA for a little bit as a computer analyst and now I'm offshore.

First date. simple, Come out and have coffee with me, that way we can meet and talk. if a second date comes up, thats dinner, or lunch. I'd rather just a chance to talk with someone first. Other fun dates such as clubs, bars, fairs, camping, thats after we get to know each other.
