I like to try new things. This year I have tried golf, line dancing and cooking classes. It is important for me to be active mentally and physically. I enjoy laughter but not at another person's expense. On a day off I like to explore a small town, shop, socialize or whatever comes up...it is important to be flexible and open to new opportunities. My taste in music ranges from jazz & blues to country and dance. I also enjoy classic rock. If I had a choice, I would enjoy an active date, hiking, dancing, bowling, etc...I have too much energy to sit still for very long.

My hope for a first date would be a meeting in a public place for a beverage and conversation. After assessing compatibility perhaps the next date could be over dinner or a long walk near the lake.
