Let me preface this by saying that you shouldn't rule anything out until you engage me in conversation.

I live in Madison and own my own multimedia business. I have a wide and varied taste. I find the fun in any situation. If you're looking for something different, I'm it. Here's a list of things I like:

I like great conversation, philosophy, creative projects, multimedia, camping, tennis, computers and technology, puzzles, and thrill-seeking...

Music: Odds are, if you love it or hate it, I like it. I like music that makes me happy the most. But anything that affects my emotions is good. I don't care about artist's personal lives and judge each song individually. A song's popularity or lack there of has no effect either. A quick sample of artists from different genres who have more than one tune I like... Green Day, Patsy Cline, Metallica, Beach Boys, Mozart, Rob Zombie, Enya, Toby Keith, Nirvana, Moby, Beastie Boys, Fatboy Slim, John Williams, Madonna, Eminem, and Tenacious D.

Movies: I love all kinds of film. If it makes you think, all the better. I'll just start listing and you'll get the idea... Donnie Darko, Momento, Fight Club, American Beauty, Army of Darkness, Pleasantville, and Vanilla Sky. Most movies by Tim Burton, Quintin Tarentino, and Kevin Smith. Movie series' Aliens, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, Star Trek and Star Wars.

Television: TIVO was a beautiful thing. But I built my own and after it went on the fritz I didn't fix it. Not I don't miss it. But here are some things I make it a point to watch; Lost, Heroes, Supernatural, Smallville, Stargate Atlantis, Weeds, Entourage, The Simpsons, South Park, Aqua Teen Hungerforce, Family Guy, MythBusters, and Penn and Teller: Bullshit.

Books: Everything by Micheal Crichton, Douglas Adams and Tolkien. Books on my "to read" list: The Harry Potter series, The Davinci Code, Atlas Shrugged, The Manifold trilogy, and hundreds of others. I'm going to start The Time Traveler's Wife, and follow it up with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Games: I like "bar" games such as darts, pool, and bowling. Boardgames (especially German-style) such as Catan, Carcassonne, and Munchkin. Classics too like Scrabble, Monopoly, and chess. I also have a long history of videogames. Pong and Tetris still rule. I've owned every major game system, and several lesser known ones. These days people may beat me in Halo, but NO ONE can take me down in Goldeneye. I play most every major game, eventually. Currently I'm all about the Rock Band 2.

Anything else just ask.

Whatever you want would be fine by me. Otherwise a trip to Perkin's/Denny's for conversation and chemistry.
