My life is terrific. Baggage is long gone.Am secure emotionally, spiritually and financially. Had a great career in advertising and now am able to devote a lot more time with my 2 grown daughters, 5 grandchildren, 3 adopted cats, community service as an AmeriCorps member(not court ordered by the way), traveling and looking for more adventures and new experiences. And while my life is terrific it's missing a significant piece. You know the one...that best friend that you share everything with. If you love life, have a sense of humor that allows you to laugh at yourself, understand the benefits of communication, compromise and compassion, believe the glass is more than half full, believe in magic and miracles and are still young at heart you and I have a lot in common.

First dates are so awkward! All those anxieties before you meet. All those questions after you meet. Understandably a public place is preferable. Dinner? Suppose you're nervous and drop your spoon in the soup. Does this bode well for a first impression? No worries. Two mature adults should have had enough communication before a first date that the initial answer to this question may or may not be relevant.I believe that it's not about where you are, it's who you're with.
