Hello my fellow POF members!

Okay! Here goes!...Me:

A very upbeat person who loves to laugh! Having a sense of humor is crucial to me! (Plus, I've heard it strengthens the immune system!...not bad!) I'm frequently told that I don't look my age at all by about 10 years. I definitely don't always act my age.. ;)

Music is important to me. I Especially enjoy Rock & Classic Rock (Rush, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Heart, Def Leppard etc.)... Didn't expect that, did ya? I also enjoy most other types of music as well (except most rap). Sorry Kanye, not a fan.

I'm a terrific cook and make a mean beef stroganoff...but I also enjoy dining out & enjoying the ambience! I'll even do the junk-food thing...but not too often!

I'm not a huge sport nut but I do like the Lakers! (Go Gasol!) I'll watch some sports with you if you rub my feet though...(just kiddin..but I do have cute little feet!)...I've only golfed once in my life (apart from mini-golf) & would one day love to learn to play! Any takers? ;) I'm also a bit of a movie buff & might occasionally recite a line from a comedy...at the opportune time of course!

I'd say I'm a hopeful romantic who still believes that there is life after divorce! I'm a sucker for the traditional guy who is easygoing, respectful, affectionate, upbeat & even a little goofy at times!

I Love to travel! Especially to tropical destinations! I Love those weekend get-a-ways too! My favorite places usually involve water, sun and sand! (Maui comes to mind).

I'm blessed with 2 teens 18+ who are the light of my life! Both college students! Add to the mix, 2 very sweet dogs!

I appreciate a partner who can express himself! It's important for me to know how my partner is feeling...If he's having a bad day, I'd like to know what I could do to make that day better! Why not be the best we can be and treat each other with kindness?

Please say what you mean & mean what you say! If you are a "Serial-dater" or "Commitment Phobe", I'm not your gal. "Games" are for children, not relationships! That old saying: "Treat others as you would want to be treated" holds a lot of weight with me! My ultimate reason for joining POF is to find "that" guy who sweeps me off my feet with chemistry & values! Who can express affection & wants the same in return...Someone who knows what he wants & is ready to make it happen!

My career involves the health care industry! More on that later...


To me, every day is a gift. And being with that special person can be the nicest gift of all! Life is short! Take a chance! I believe that some of the biggest mistakes in life is not exploring the "What if's?" that lie before us!
