What's with all the 'degrees' of one form or another on here, very high percentage, if most of you are so smart and make so much money, what are you doing on a free site if you are really serious? I have an IQ too but I don't lie in my profile (not saying anybody is lying, just saying I could and you would never know the difference).

Long-term to me means committed, whatever form that takes, no lying, no cheating, whether we see each other 12 times a year or 120 times a year.

I need somebody that is just as alone as I am, I have very little family, no kids and no ex-wife (in other words, if you have to talk to your ex everyday about the kids, whatever, that can be off-putting).

I like dogs but if you put your dog (or cat(s)) 'before' your boyfriend (yes, that's happened to me), sorry, that's just weird and wrong, good luck with that. I have one cat, five fish and one snail, yes, a snail, his (it actually, aren't they 'asexual'?) name is Gary, heh. :-D

Although I can be out-going and sociable, I tend to lean towards cozy nights in.

I can cook but mostly boring, typical North American fare. I love to eat if you like to cook (I have a hollow leg, heh ;-), this doesn't mean I am looking for a free meal or somebody to 'mother' me, I can take perfectly good care of myself, thank you very much.

Quit smoking, but still on nic-gum. One day at a time. =)

I am not perfect and I don't want somebody that's perfect, too much work to live up to their standards. I don't want to be a new father to your kids, somebody's 'wallet' (this doesn't mean I am cheap, just tired of being used) or just a lay, I want a companion, lover and a friend. Start off small and see where it goes. Don't message me to say you were offended by this or that in my profile, I DON'T CARE, the whole idea is to not waste YOUR time finding these things out slowly. If you want a secretive liar, I am sure there are plenty on here for you.

By the way, I chose 'starfish' because I like them, I think they are cute, humble creatures (ok, so maybe I am a little like them, heh) but I don't have an unwarranted high opinion of myself.
