I am an easy-going, honest, caring person who doesn't like a lot of drama in my life. I enjoy having a good time whether it be a night on the town or a quiet evening at home. Black tie or blue jeans makes no difference to me (although I prefer the blue jeans.) I like to cook but not doing much of that since there really isn't anyone around to cook for lately. I enjoy listening to a variety of music but my favorite is classic rock. I like going to concerts as well as listening to local bands in a small club or neighborhood bar. I enjoy the theater, watching movies, watching most sports (exception - soccer) either live or on TV. I'm a Cubs fan but enjoy being at the ballpark on a beautiful day or evening no matter who's playing. I enjoy traveling usually to some warm tropical place but will go almost anywhere. I like to relax by the pool, soaking up the sun, reading a book with a cool drink.

What am I looking for in a match? I am looking for someone who is honest and caring and open with their feelings, who can be a best friend, companion, etc. Someone who can communicate their likes/dislikes and can work through difficulties. Someone who wants to travel and share favorite spots as well as find and explore new ones.

A first date should be something very casual where you can talk and get to know each other...start with coffee somewhere or drinks. Maybe a lunch or very casual dinner. Then take it from there.
