I'm a rare breed of adventurous, social nerd. Yes, you can sometimes find us in the wild. We tend to blend in well with crowds since we're actually somewhat tan because we don't spend our days playing online games in our parents' basements, we can dress ourselves properly, and we will smile and say "Hello" to an attractive woman passing by. But still, I said nerd, so let me explain...

I’d like one day to say, when people ask “what do you do?”, that I am a writer, comic book creator, and futurist of sorts. But right now, I say “I save the world one light bulb at a time” (full-time at that). I’m also a sometime-artist, almost always a great cook (except when experiments go awry), and a confident, funny guy.

I'm an explorer and creator at heart - I'd rather be wandering through a forest in the rain or digging through some random shelf of books in Powell's rather than sitting around and watching TV. I have future travel plans for Nepal, Tokyo and Poland. And, before the year is out, I hope to have at least one of my many creative projects launched on the web for the world to see.

What am I looking for? Really, I'm looking for an equal: a woman driven by her passions, one who has a creative soul. She's confident and kicks ass because she's a blast to hang out with because of her wit, smile and radiance. A woman who is just as happy hiking through Forest or Washington Park in the rain as she is enjoying a beer with me during happy hour at a local pub, or wandering hand-in-hand checking out galleries on First/Last Thursdays. Or, even better, the woman who’s eyes I can look into and forget the stresses of life and only care about us.

I like to keep first dates basic. We'd meet somewhere low-key where we could talk, maybe grab a bite to eat or a beer/coffee (pub, dive bar, Powell's, etc.). Maybe, just maybe, that little bit of "zing" we'll be hoping for will spark and we'll go from there.
