I moved to Boston over a year and a half ago and still find myself replying, "I'm from NH..." when I don't understand some inexplicable local rule that only Bostonians believe. Even in the face of the ridiculous I still love it here though - maybe even because of the ridiculous. There's always something to do, someone new and interesting (or sometimes not interesting) to meet, somewhere new to go.

I like to think I'm a lot more motivated than I am to see and explore everything... but somehow I often find myself staying at home watching whatever my Netflix has to offer. But I'm never opposed to doing something fun if it comes up (the good thing about netflix is it's always waiting for you later).

I'm currently working for a very large and very bureaucratic company. It's kind of like a slow death or a Dilbert stuck in the movie Ground Hog Day.

I have a bachelors degree in English and would ultimately like to get my masters in Creative Writing, modern American Literature, Critical Theory, Psychology, Spanish, Research Methodology (is that something you can get a masters degree in?), or possibly become a nurse.

I'd like to get into medical research or become the next great American novelist... whichever comes along first.

I am loaded with direction. Clearly.

I'm also luxuriating in all that is summer while I figure the rest out - margaritas, grilled hot dogs, gin and tonics, wandering around outside, and walking around Castle Island.g
