I'm at an age now where I'm more laid back and easy going. I like being around people who are outgoing, intelligent and like to talk and laugh. Personality and character are number one for me. I thoroughly enjoy a stimulating conversation and I do not care for the quiet, mysterious types. (THEY ARE SOOOOO BORING!)
My family and I are close and I like people who care about their family too.
I'd one day like to be married again, but I'm not in any hurry. I want to have lots of fun, but also need a warm and loving relationship with a man. I believe in giving all my heart, and "Mr. Right" will have to give all of his to me. Anything less is just not a good basis for a long term relationship. Oh, and let's not forget about passion. Gotta have it!
You'll find me outgoing, straight forward and fun to be around. I love the camaraderie at Karaoke with my friends and enjoy singing at least once a week. I am also into the peacefulness of fishing or going to the family cabin and sitting around a campfire. I like going on short or long trips when I can afford it, and just being a couch potato too. I get into watching football and bull riding(yes I said bull riding), the interesting things on the Discovery and History channels, and I'm totally into watching stand up comedy on Comedy Central.
As you can see, I'm one to do fun and exciting things and/or just totally relax and enjoy the quiet times.
I'm way past the mind games and hang ups in a relationship. At fifty plus, I think people should look for the meaningful and fun things in each other. Being serious is ok when it is needed, but lighten up! Life is not going to wait around for you to enjoy it.
I like a variety of music. Classic rock and oldies top the list, but I enjoy jazz, alternative,hard rock,some metal and a little country. Not a big opera fan ;-b.
I'm a child of the seventies and have a bit of the wild streak from back in the day, but I am also a little "old school". I want a man to treat me like a lady because I am a lady. I in turn will respect you and make you feel like a man.

When we meet for the first time, coffee, lunch at an outdoor cafe or something relaxed and quiet would be good. Let's talk and get comfortable with one another.
If we then decide to go on an official date, maybe something more exciting like some sort of live entertainment, miniature golf or cow tipping. Gotcha! It would be good to see how we get along in different settings and environments. A little flirting and being playful along the way is quite nice. I think that is a perfect lead-in to a little romance. I'd also like to get some input on what YOU would like to do on a first date.
