Hey there, thanks for checking out my profile! I was off this site for a while but I thought I should give it another shot.

I have recently moved back to the island (after being away far too long!) to start a new teaching job. I’ve been living in the Fraser Valley for the past six years working as a public school music teacher, and I really enjoy my job. Now that I’ve found a teaching position nearer to the rest of my family I am very excited about meeting someone special to spend my time with.

I like to lead a healthy life and try to exercise at least two or three times a week (although I've been so busy with work lately that I haven't been exercising nearly enough). I take martial arts classes, play squash (badly!), play golf (not quite as badly), and I like to go for walks and hikes.

I listen to a wide variety of music, I play a number of instruments, and I like to sing as well. As you can tell, music is a big part of my life.

Being a teacher is great but I need to do a better job of balancing the amount of time I spend on my job with the amount of time I spend on things OTHER than work.

I am looking for someone who is fun, energetic, and likes to laugh. I haven’t done too much traveling in my life yet, but I’d love to find a traveling partner to see the world with. I’d like to visit Europe, Japan, Cuba, and the east coast of Canada (among other places).

Meeting new people is always a challenge when you move to a new town so I thought I’d give this a try. If you are looking for a nice guy who will treat you well, ask you about your day, and give you a big hug when you need it…that’s me! :)

I should probably mention that I don't smoke and prefer to date people who don't smoke either. Also, I'm quite allergic to cats so if you have a cat then I'm probably not the guy for you.
