| | Now that the summer weather has finally arrived, I find that I would much rather be outside enjoying it with friends or a good book than inside in front of a screen (with some exceptions of course). I spent the last year working overseas, traveling a bit around Europe and meeting amazing friends and came back to KW motivated to finish my studies and pursue my career goals here and abroad.
Outside of schoolwork my hobbies include swimming, running, photography, cooking, reading (usually non-fiction), travel, and spending time with friends and family. The last few books I've read include "Paris 1919" and "The World on Fire: 1919 and the battle with Bolshevism". I'm looking to complete a marathon in October and I speak passable French.
It says here to talk about myself (see above paragraph :D) and what makes me unique, but I find it more interesting to find out about other people, share conversation and hear their stories.
I listen to most kinds of music - classic rock, dance, disco (the horror!), club, alternative, classical, pop, 90s gangsta rap and r&b, some country - except modern hip hop and r&b as most of it is awful. |
