Hi. Thanks for checking out my posting. Not quite sure what to write about in here so I will give it a try. I am a 33 SWM and a single parent of a 8 yr old girl (just thought I would throw that out there from the start). My friends would consider me very outgoing, laid back, no drama, FUN individual. I enjoy living life, laughing at others (and of course myself at times!)

So what am I looking for? First and foremost I am looking for someone who is REAL, not into head games, or drama but most importantly to be FRIENDS with at first. Get to know someone on an intimate level as FRIENDS and see where it goes from there. Also I am looking for someone who is a "Strong Independent Black Woman" someone who knows what she wants out of life, and is not afraid to go after it no matter what obstacles may stand in her way. I would stand by my woman 110% and would expect the same. Also, looking for someone who values family, and friends as both of them are very important to me. In addition to the above I am looking for someone who is involved with her church...as I am a God fearing man and church is a very imporant part of my life.

LAST but not least someone who is FUN & OUTGOING!! Someone who would want to go to Uptown, Charlotte Bobcats & Knights games, movies, dinner, festivals, etc...Someone who is not afraid to laugh out loud in public, doesn't take her self to seriously, and can also show affection in public (as I am a pro at all three).

I hate to have to say this, but I must ask that you be "STABLE" meaning you have A JOB, own house or apt., and you are stable mentally as well. I can have a pretty smart mouth sometimes, so hopefully you have "thick skin" and you don't take everything so seriously!!

I love to cook (yea can throw down in the kitchen), but also like to travel and explore new areas and try new foods (my dream job would be on Food Network as in the show Diners Drive In's and Dives....man that would cool). Huge fan of college sports, movies, music, anything outdoors, and amusement parks (have season passes to Carowinds!!).

First dates are always a little bit nervous at first (especially the first minute or two of meeting someone)...so I would like to go somewhere outdoors (in case either one of us needs to run away!! LOL)...no but seriously grab some coffee, walk around Freedom Park, get lunch..something very simple, as well as some where we can talk and get to know each other.
