Work has become my main activity in life, and I like it, but the fun of sharing time with someone is what's missing.
I requested "long-term" even though things always start with getting to know each other and dating.

The desire not to be in debt drives me to be responsible, so I look after myself that way, and respect the man who has that same priority for hinmself.
I love my sunshine filled kitchen, trees and flower gardens. Am looking forward to seeing the snow fall into my trees.
Any music where there's energy and joy make me happy.
I live like a country person in the city. I think it makes me appreciate get-aways that much more!

Having lived in three provinces of Canada for significant lengths of time, I have enjoyed getting to know many people, mostly through work.
The travelling I want to do more of is to volunteer and hang out with the locals rather than a lounging situation. I did that volunteer work thing in another country (although, I don't have to go to another country to do it) when I was a teenager and loved it.

I seem to like organizing stuff (luckily, that's my job too), but don't feel the need to do it with other peoples things (unless they ask for help).
And, I like inventing new recipes according to what's in my fridge, baking home-made bread, making (and having) soups in winter, singing or hearing live singing (prefer small venues or friends jamming), woezo dancing, Colin James, Etta James, Mavericks, the smell of wild roses, fresh fall air, and, having a chat with a good-hearted person.

A fused ankle has kept me from enjoying running, but given me the opportunity to learn and live out of my comfort zone. Given me the gift of not taking things for granted.
*** New hobbies: I'm getting a kick out of the great equipment and fun work-out at Curves. Lucky me. And, recently got recruited, happily, to join in to ball-room dancing stuff at UofA in January. My life is getting funner by the day!

I've worked with and around mostly men for many years. They are respectful to me and I get an oppportunity to appreciate how they work.

The man I appreciate and like to be around is one who knows and likes himself, truly respects women, and enjoys getting to know people.
And, I've done the marriage thing, years ago, and I'm a different person now - not looking to repeat that scenerio.

I appreciate it when guys like to write a bit about themselves, too.

Low key, maybe a grocery shopping trip or building a garage (I don't need a garage, it's just something to do).
