About Me
Has anyone else noticed that this whole online dating thing is like ADD dating? You write a couple of times with someone and then, POOF, they are gone forever with no explanation. Maybe that doesn't happen to women. It gets frustrating after a while. Anyway... I live in the hills up the 285 corridor. Single women seem to be somewhat limited up here. I don't really expect to find a lifelong partner online but some new friends would be nice. I could be open to anything spanning from dating to LTR. I am a single dad, so if you have kids that is great. If you don't, but like them, close enough. He is 5 and intermittently charming. He's with me a lot, so I am really not a weekend and every other Wednesday dad proclaiming single dad status. I know I am limiting my responses by saying this but the one that responds will be FANTASTIC (and I only need one good one). I guess I should also state that I am not looking for a replacement mama and there is no residual friction for you to deal with. I like to spend my spare time outdoors as much as possible (Yellowstone is my favorite). I like the wide open highway with my SIRIUS radio, I just don't get to see it often. I want to start seeing more live music which would be predominantly Jam Band type music but also can be flexible on that. I never burn out on Classical or Jazz. I have Sirius Radio in the house and prefer it to television. I haven't had cable for about a decade and besides Lost, I don't really need it. Overall, I am just a laid back guy looking for new people to enjoy. I won't go out of my way to watch football but enjoy basketball. I prefer to be emmersed to my chin in hot spring water at the time of kickoff for the Super Bowl. You generally have the place to yourself. I carry a basketball in my car and shoot around every chance I get. I have a cat named Mr. Chowderhead. I didn't name him. I think he might be gay, and that's OK I may view your profile and not write. It's nothing personal, I am just assuming that you are not interested in someone in my situation. If you like what you read, write me an email. Please DO write if your sense of humor is well-developed, goofy, silly or innane (please note the lack of an "s" in that word). After all, when we all lose our looks, that is what holds things together. Unless you are psychotic or dangerous, we could at least be friends. Grammar skills are somwhat important to me too. You women out there that agree know what I mean.
First Date
I'm not sure that they can be called "dates", as they usually turn out to be more of a sanity and bilateral symmetry check. Whatever involves movement, conversation and input.
