I would like someone who cares enough about herself to stay in shape, is confident enough to tell me how she really feels, likes to go to church, and is ready to be a mother and partner permanently.

She also has to be a good role model for my two-year-old daughter. I want my little girl to have every opportunity to pursue her dreams and to succeed as she gets older. Please be careful here, because it is more difficult than you might think to date someone with a child.

I really love the country club atmosphere and enjoy black tie/charity events, but can also be very comfortable in sports bars and flip flops. Grew up in Texas, so am able to guide my way through a crowded dance floor in a pair of Wranglers too. I have a soft spot for girls who look great in jeans too!

It's not that I can't find girls to date. It's just that I haven't been able to find the right one. Unfortunately, I made a mistake before and settled for someone that I knew wasn't quite right. That didn't work out well for either of us. I would never put myself or the other person through that again.

I like to create a good first date after I've gotten to talk for a bit so that we can think of something that might be fun for both of us.
