The top three things you might need to know about me are:
1. I am a passionate person. There is purpose in everything I do.
2. I am laid back and fun loving. I like to live in each moment, not necessarily looking back or forward. My best times are just hanging out with friends and being surrounded by laughter.
3. I am an independent woman looking to share my life with a man. I'm not really interested in one night stands or a short term adventure. I'm really looking for something long term, and it's only fair if I get that out up front.

My hobbies are reading, playing in a community band (I play the oboe - extra points for knowing what that instrument is), drinking and learning about beer, and playing games (board, outdoor, wii etc.). I enjoy traveling. I am working hard to be in a place financially to go overseas every summer to a different part of the world. I lke traveling around here as well, and yearly river adventures/camping etc.

Music is very important to me, as I am a musician. I love going to see live music/bands. I like hearing new local music. While they are not new, the ACB's are one of my favorite KC/local bands. I like music that makes me move. I have a variety of favorites, and it changes weekly so I'm not going to create a huge list of bands on here. I like most music and can appreciate it's part in our society.

I am looking for someone to share my life with. I would like someone that loves to travel and is open to traveling the world. I would like to find someone that is intelligent, and conversationally challenging, but still likes to get down and have a good ol' time.

For a first date, I think it's better to meet somewhere that is conducive to conversation. It could be a restaurant, coffee shop, or a place for ice cream. I think it's important to be able to have a conversation and get to know a small snapshot of the other person before more personal dates.
