I'm a 28 year-old full-time doctoral student who keeps very busy... I am majoring in both clinical psychology and minoring in animal behavior/cognition focusing on marine mammals. I'm working toward my dream of becoming a therapist in dolphin-assisted therapy. I love animals, obviously, and have 5 of my own (although 3 live with my parents in GA). I'm an only child and am extremely close with my parents and my extended family. I'm also very close with a good group of friends, who I consider to be part of my family. I'm seeking someone who doesn't lie or cheat, who is an animal lover, who is spiritual, and who can talk calmly about a disagreement instead of yelling. I want a shoulder to cry on, but also someone who's not completely dependent. I believe it's important to have alone time sometimes too. I want someone who is willing to compromise and really work at the relationship instead of giving up if it gets hard at all.

On a first date, I'd like to get to know the person better, so I would want to go somewhere we could talk. Maybe a nice dinner or meeting for coffee, or even a walk on the beach? I'm also open to ideas! :)
