HMMM, it is time for a rewrite on this profile. I have been on for a few months now and have not caught any fish :( . It is very difficult to write about yourself so that you sound interesting to others. I work full time, workout regularly, take care of my home, thankfully fall is near and I won't have to mow the grass so much, and take care of my 3 furry kids! It seems like I can never catch up. In my spare time I am part of a large rescue group focused on rehoming labrador retrievers.

I am an admitted non-world traveler but, that doesn't mean I do not like to get away. Fortunate for me my parents live in the mountains of southwest Virginia. They have a beautiful 60 acre property where I can get away from the hustle of everyday life. And the best part is that my "kids" can enjoy the same. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my dogs running free or playing in the creek! I also am fortunate to have beach retreat where I can take the dogs too. But, I have learned that if I want to relax at the beach then not all of them can go! every fall I take a long weekend and head to Cape May where I can relax and take one or two dogs and enjoy them running and playing on the beach!

My dogs bring me a lot of enjoyment but, I am yearning for some 2 legged companionship too! Obviously, a compliment to my life would need to love my dogs! It is very difficult for me to tell you what I want because I want to keep an open-mind. But, I want someone who can stand on his own 2 feet and respect me. That is probably most important!
