I am young at heart and people say I look younger than I am, but I'll let you be the judge of that! :) I know that I FEEL and THINK younger than my chronological age!

I just moved to the Charlotte area from Central Florida and I am thrilled to be here! :-)

I am a lifelong learner who continues to evolve as a person. When I stop learning, you'll find me six feet under! I enjoy new experiences and love to travel. A photographer since I can remember, I am perfecting my skills as a digital photographer these days rather than in the darkroom. I enjoy expressing myself in other forms of art and love the theater (as in audience member!). I enjoy the mountains as well as the beach; would love to return to New Zealand and Hawaii and have a number of destinations (both traditional and unique) on my bucket list. Music? I like it all, but hiphop and rap are at the bottom of the list! Dancing? Ah, it has been a long time since I've been with someone who would dance, so you might have to help me relearn!

Are you looking for a workout queen with a body that is perfect? Well, that's not me. I'm in pretty good shape and I do take care of myself, however. ;-) If you are looking for someone who is reasonably attractive, intelligent, can enjoy fishing, a football or basketball game, or a Broadway play or the symphony and who hangs out in jeans but can still turn heads in a dress, then I might be the one you are looking for ...

I am looking for a tall gentleman who can treat me like a lady yet respect my abilities; who is intelligent and successful; who is intellectually, emotionally, and financially stable, who needs me but isn't needy; and who will hold me as we awaken in the morning and as we go to sleep at night -- but who won't smother me. He absolutely must see the glass MORE THAN half full - and, he must be a good kisser! ;)

What are you doing the rest of your life?

A first date is a chance to get to begin to get to know each other, so let's linger over a drink and a quiet dinner and then maybe even have coffee and a decadent dessert! Shall we go window shopping afterward or browse a bookstore? People watching is always fun, too! Or, we could end the evening with a trip to make a stuffed bear at one of those factories! The kind of bear you make might tell me something about you! You see, I am easy to entertain!! ;) The first date should be made up of activities to allow us to interact ... no movies or plans that keep us from talking or making eye contact! I want to look into your eyes and see your smile when we talk!
