Hi new friends :)
My name is Kira and I was born and raised in Toronto, but don't really consider myself to be a city girl. I love camping, canoeing, and hiking, and I feel happiest when I'm outdoors. I was recently up in Whitehorse for two months and it completely and totally ignited a love for the mountains and rivers and lakes. That said, I have a job here in Toronto and a great new apartment right in the middle of things, and as far as cities go, this is a pretty sweet one to live in. I'm looking forward to exploring the area and getting to know the quirks of my new hood.

As for things I like to do, besides enjoy the outdoors, I love cooking, reading, drinking wine, listening to classic rock or any music that involves an acoustic guitar, and going to concerts (big or small). I absolutely love to travel and have backpacked around Europe and Central America so far, and feel lucky to have a career that will let me work and travel simultaneously!

As for outings, I love the museum. I have yet to get to the art gallery but would love to. I'm also interested in learning how to rock climb, and I hear we have some great indoor gyms downtown that are worth checking out. I'm always up for a movie, there's a movie theatre nearby me where you can get 'VIP' service and can order drinks from your chair, I'd like to give that a go. Last, but not least, I have a huge weakness for road trips. There is no trip too short or too long for me. Bring it.
