I've worked very hard to get where I am today. I'm very happy with the way my life is going. I just would like to add to it by meeting someone I can relate to on many levels. I am ambitious, goal-oriented, honest, good-hearted, a great listener and reliable. That is much of what I'm looking for in my match. I am also an animal lover, so you also have to put up with my entourage of four-legged creatures :P

Having my daughter was truly a life-altering event. I don’t think I would be half the person I am now without her.

I began riding horses when I was 7 and still love it as much as I did the first time.

I finally stopped chewing my fingernails when I began nursing school. I thought it was probably a good idea. I do sometimes regress back to it when I'm stressed.

I love road trips.

I am very live and let live. I even set the spiders that come into the house free.

My first Bachelor’s degree is in English so I am rather compulsive about my—and others—grammar and spelling.

I have rescued a pony, dogs, puppies, kittens, cats, birds and had attempts at chipmunks, squirrels and wild rabbits.

I realized recently that my pet peeves in people are: 1) lying and 2) people who whine about their situations and don’t do anything to change them.

I am a firm believer that you make 98% of your own way in life.

I am ambidextrous.

I learned how to drive on a stick shift. I’ve changed my oil, spark plugs and tires on varied cars I’ve owned.
