LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO GET ME OFF OF HERE!! :P

I'm loking for a serious relationship, someone willing to put just as much effort into it as i am. Someone who likes to laugh, have fun and just be themselves. Pictured is my 3 year old Great Dane Alexis. 3 days for X-mas she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of cancer that destroys bone marrow. The same type of cancer Terry Fox had. It was in her front left leg and opted to have it amputed to get rid of the pain and the cancerous tumour. 5 treatments of chemo, all at the university of Guelph, just to give her a better quality of life and have her around for a year hopefully two more, since there is no cure. Last week my worst fears were confirmed when Alexis' cancer had already moved into her lungs, much to everyone's surprise, it was unexpected. My time these days are just hanging out with her and making sure whatever time we have left is the best it can be for both of us. I have learned many many things from her in this short amount of time.

Update, July 2, Alexis suddenly had a heart attack and passed away at 10:30am. She fell to the floor and as I rushed down to grab her, all I saw was fear in her eyes and I'll never forget that look. Her heart stoped then so did the breathing, I tried reviving her for a few minutes, but had no luck. Thanks to everyone for your kind words and taking the time to express them. She will be extremely missed, I just lost my best friend way too soon.

First dates are hard to predict... maybe a walk on the beach, or take the dog for a walk....
