I could be retired, but prefer to continue working to keep me active and independent. I love to travel, and try to take a nice trip every year. I love being around people and trying new restaurants, going to movies (old and new),and like taking day trips. I belong to a service organization and enjoy volunteering for our fund raisers. I have a good circle of friends, but am always looking for new ones.

My idea of a good first date is having dinner at a nice, quiet restaurant with ambiance, which would allow easy, comforatable conversation, and time to get acquainted. Perhaps a nice walk afterward to continue the conversation, sharing stories about our past, our families, our hopes for the future, and whatever else comes up.
