I am a 26 year old, divorced mommy to the brightest five year old EVER :-) I work FT at a local hospital doing four ten hour shifts per week, working the night shift. I love my job, and I love my co-workers, what more could anyone ask for? I still live at home, but it's actually pretty nice at the moment because of the economy, and I am blessed to have parents who will put up with me ;-) It's giving me a chance to save up for a place of my own, so hopefully around this time next year I'll be out...not to mention nothing beats mom's home cooking...YUM! :-D

I like to do a lot of things: being with my son is, and always will be, #1! I love sports, so going to hockey and baseball games is always a good time, and as much as I love football, I'm pretty content to watch that on TV. I like going to the bar every once in a while, as well as to the club with my friends. I'm a HUGE music fan, I can pretty much listen to anything, as long as I can understand what they're saying. Right now I'm on a big country kick. Some of my music interests include: Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum, The Eagles, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, NKOTB (yeah, I'm not afraid to admit it!), Maroon 5, Linkin Park, etc, etc...

Right now I am taking a hiatus from school so that I can focus on my son and his first year of school, but when I go back I'm hoping to become a nurse. What kind of nurse is TBD, but I'm a pretty motivated person, so while it might not happen instantaneously, it will eventually :-)

Some odd things:
1. I love the color green.
2. I am obsessed with Ireland, it's my dream to go there.
3. I am afraid of needles, but I have two tattoos and want more.
4. I hate heights...
5. But Mt. Washington is my favorite spot in the city.
6. I hate worms, snakes, and pretty much anything that slithers...
7. But I don't mind bugs and am usually the one people go to to kill them.
8. I can laugh like Krusty the Klown.
9. I have a freakish obsession with Penguins...one of my tattoos is of a singing penguin :-)
