Who I am: I am a loving, generous, kind, compassionate, intelligent, hilariously funny, very playful, passionate, adventurous, patient, good listener, problem-solver by trade, strong and, sometimes, self-doubting woman. I love hiking and camping, and mountain biking is a new passion of mine (although I am still a big scaredy cat when it comes to going downhill fast!)

I can soothe the savage beast (or colicky baby) with a gentle touch to his heart and a few whispered words; only give advice when asked; and enjoy seducing and being seduced.

My son's laughter is my favorite music, but Bruce Springsteen runs a very close second. I love fine wines (reds) and the men who drink them, any film by Mel Brooks (I have a warped sense of humor), and believe that laughter is the best medicine. Make me laugh, and I am yours! I believe in working smart, not hard; believe that the worst part of being an adult is dealing with the other adults who have forgotten how much fun it can be to lighten up and just play. I have a gorgeous Shetland Sheepdog with whom I spend quite a bit of time walking and training him (he's such a stubborn Scotsman).

I am looking for a man who: is unafraid to let the little boy in him come out to play; works to grow both intellectually and spiritually ; would be comfortable letting me be the strong one when he needs help and vice versa; will trust me and know I trust him.
