Well, what is there to say, really. I'm a journalism student, I like to write, I especially enjoy being paid for it. Would that I could arrange a situation where that would happen more often.

I have a lot of weird tastes and a fondness for "old man things", like my pocket watch, snail mail, and letter-covering wax that I stamp with my initials. I can't help it. All in all, old men are the most stylish portion of most any society.

Hobbies: Homebrewing beer. I do this quite a lot. It's great fun. I'm a fantasy baseball king.

Movies: My minor in college. I see a lot of film. I know a lot of things that there's no reason to know. I love bad movies and Mystery Science Theater 3000. I still watch that show with some friends each week. I love the Halloween time of year and stay up late watching the old, B-movies that play late at night/early into the morning.

Music: Traditional folk, bluegrass, modern folk, blues, soul, funk, classic rock, power/jangle pop. In pretty much that order, I think. My greatest regret in life is that I don't play the fiddle in a modern folk quintet.

I prefer not to talk about that here; any interaction I have with a person is going to be based on what they are like and what I think they would enjoy, not some arbitrary excursion I plan on taking anyone I speak with on.
