my name is james, music is my life. i've played guitar for almost 10 years, been in a few bands. composing music is basically what i live for. and no, i'm not one of these scrubs who says i write music but it ends up sounding unoriginal, boring and not at all special. not to sound arrogant, but this is my livelihood we're talking about: i'm a natural, i'm talented and i'm good at what i do. i don't necessarily think that is going to matter to you, but i just like people to know how important it is to me and my identity. art is my passion, in all its forms. here are a few of my favorite bands (alphabetized of course, what do you take me for?):

let me just reiterate: music is my ****ing life.

i also love to read a lot of non-fiction, i like to increase my knowledge of worldly stuff, and think about things that a lot of people don't bother to. i see life as inter-connected and i try to connect the dots wherever i can. life is a big mystery and i just want to know everything i can about it. i love quantum physics. i'm not your average guy. i can be a bit eccentric.

i can be kind of quiet and shy, but get me going on a subject i'm passionate about and i may never shut up. when i get comfortable with someone my inner-dork sometimes comes out, and i can be a bit of a goof. i'm pretty easy to get along with. as far as music goes i'm into just about everything under the sun, but nothing you'd hear on the radio or see on tv.

i love dogs. i have a 2 year old black labXshepherd named Dante, and i love him terribly.

i am planning to move to victoria early next year :) and i am stoked.

walk on the beach with toes in the sand, maybe build a castle :P i'll probably bring my dog. haha.
