A few things about me:
I am a SELF-PROCLAIMED art dork.
I am sweet as sugar, but tough as nails.
I am linguistically dexterous, but love dorky quips.
I make wishes on triple times of day (1;11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55) and pennies I find heads up.
I am BFFs with my thesaurus and my red lipstick.
I am a lover of art, live shows, zombie movies, football season, roller skating, playing roller derby, and learning new things.
I am a comrade of socialism, communism, liberalism and feminism (but not a real big fan of "isms" generally).
I am weird spiritually...I was raised with a Baptist and Catholic family, but studied eastern faiths in college (my interest was sparked in art history). I don't think any extreme or judgment is good...and the religiously fanatic tend to be.
I am an art director and a graphic artist by trade with 8 tattoos and counting.
I have an amazing small group of great friends that describe me as "a woman who knows exactly what she wants. A person who is very generous and considerate, is adorably expressive (like a comic book hero with her own sayings), and is not afraid to be obnoxious."


I am looking for intelligent conversation with obscure movie references...a man who will open the doors for women, but thinks about smacking their a** as they go in....a gentleman who knows how to jump in the air and click his heels together (this one is optional ;D)...a guy who is "old school" in his way of thinking concerning women and relationships, but someone who is not intimidated by a strong woman (someone who can handle dating a derby girl who is also an executive)...someone who has become an adult, has their career going, and takes care of their adult business, but still finds it funny to say that they are a "grown up." (I feel that way)

First dates should give you the opportunity for conversation: getting a coffee and going for a walk or hitting a dive bar with a good juke box...movie dates or dates where you have to watch someone eat something awkward, like a chili dog, are bad news bears.
