About Me
1. I love to go out and explore the world on road trips and walks, I golf (when I can), enjoy computer related things, music, writing, socializing, and whatever sounds like something different that might end up on the agenda. I am looking at starting to write a novel, something I have wanted to do for a long time. 2. My goal in life is to work my way into a challenging management/business analyst job and find someone who has time to get to know me and has fun doing it. I'm not here to play games and I prefer to take it slow until I get to know someone. If your profile doesn't reflect what you're really like, then you should probably move on to another profile. 3. I have been described as a person who likes to have fun, who has an upbeat take on life. I am good either on my own or in a relationship. I like to have interesting conversations and meet people. I can be independent, but also like to be taken care of at times. I can usually find something funny in almost any situation, but can be serious when it's required. I can be silly, cause trouble, or be logical and organized. I am comfortable with myself and I want a guy who can be many things, but is confident enough to be true to who he is. 4. I like lots of different music. I like some Rock (have seen Theory of a Deadman Hinder and Motley Crue recently). I like a little country, some pop, some alternative and a bit of blues and jazz. I like the Trews, Green Day, Daughtry, Finger 11, Sum41, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Queens of the Stone Age.
First Date
A good first date would be to have lunch or go to a festival or event with music during the day. It would give us the chance to talk and get to know one another a bit. I never completely plan a date, cause I think you can overplan. If it was a festival near the water, we could walk the beach, relax and talk about what we like and don't and what our lives are like. Some of the best first dates I ever had were lunches or dinners where we had a few teas or coffees or some drinks and had relaxing conversation. Talking about what we like to do, what our jobs are like, any pets, and hobbies or sports, and that type of thing is always good. If the first date is a success, then we will have ideas about what our next date can include. I don't mind e-mailing, but think you have to meet a person to get a better idea of what someone is really like.
