I have been living in Seattle for about 3 years now. Originally from North Jersey, grew up about 45 minutes west of NYC. Went to college in Boston - liked it so much I stayed there for a few more years. Moved back to NY/NJ and met someone from out here. Needless to say it did not work out, everything happens for a reason... What doesn't kill you makes you stronger - I am a positive person that takes advantage of learning and growing with all experiences and that was quite some time ago.

I enjoy my job - got a promotion to Management and trying to make it happen regardless of this economic climate. Things are going pretty well. When I finish with work I usually workout as much as possible. I love the gym and running outside (especially when the weather is nice). If you like exercising/running that is a definite plus.

Got a cute dog I get to see every other weekend. Just kidding. No I'm not.

I like many genre's of music depending upon the mood or the activity:

Hip Hop (I like a lot of East Coast because the East is the beAst and the West's for the rest... And don't even try to tell me Tupac is West Coast - born in raised in NYC.) If you are picking up what I am laying down that's a good thing.

Jazz (definitely like Sade from time to time. Not afraid to admit it)

House (but only a specific type - I can explain. trust me I am not a Jersey gweedo, don't even know how to spell it.)

90's Grunge (it seems like no one out here will admit they like that stuff. what's the deal with that?)

Dave Matthew's (seen him in concert several times but never at the Gorge. Until this year! Maybe I will buy you a ticket too)

Alternative, classic rock, R&B, I am a pretty open minded person. I will pretty much give anything a try once. Why not life's too short.

In regards to what I am looking for? I want a girl with extensions in her hair - bamboo earrings at least two pair... Just kidding, always wanted to say that. I guess I am looking for a well rounded girl. I need someone intelligent, driven is a plus, personality a must. I love sarcasm and you better too. I tend to gravitate to girls you could "bring home to mom". I guess that is a compliment to anyone I ever dated... What can I say I've always admired beautiful woman - I mean did you see the picture of my mother?

I don't know very many people out here. The majority of the people I know are either my employees or married with children. The single friends I have are awesome but we don't hang out every weekend. So basically looking for someone to hang out with... I can grab a drink, coffee, or even do dinner depending on the person...

If you are truly looking for someone who fits that nice guy persona, with a good job, healthy, fun, charismatic, funny, smart(sort of - you be the judge). I'm down to just hang out and get to know people, if something comes of it well than all the better.

There are a lot of things I want to do in Seattle. I live close to Alki so want to utilize that during the summer. I am down with doing the fun things this city/state has to offer because the majority are new to me. First date / meeting definitely casual.
