I am a confident, successful woman. I own my own business and have a nice home and life but would like to enjoy it with someone. I have a great "son" Brody who is an 85 lb. lap dog who is great to hang out with. I want to be with someone who is also a dog lover - even has their own - who enjoys all the activities that go along with owning a pet. I love to cook, entertain, travel, listen to live music (blues is my favorite but I like alot of other kinds) and enjoy outdoor activities. I have a great sense of humor and love to make people laugh. When I am with someone I want them to feel special so I spoil them and love it when they do the same. It is the small thoughtful things that almost always mean the most. I am just as happy digging around in the backyard or going to a chiefs game or dressing up for a night on the town. I think I am very flexible when it comes to what I do with someone, it is more important that we are spending quality time together, having fun and getting to know each other. I don't need someone to take care of me, just want to be with someone who is a good decent human being who enjoys and appreciates someone who is smart, funny, attractive and has a lot to give.

My ideal first date (after the initial meeting where a connection was made) would include going somewhere for dinner so there can be some conversation and if things are clicking go somewhere and listen to some live music. Outside if the weather is nice. You can tell alot about a person when they listen to music and how they express themselves. If the connection continues, it can be a very fun, exciting date.
