Generally, I am forward-looking, interested in what you have to say, conscientious, fond of most critters, politically progressive, a light smoker (meaning about 1 pack per week, not every day), and possessed of an odd gift for finding lost objects. Despite living with fibromyalgia, I do work one day a week, love my job, and, having seen substantial improvement, am hopeful for full recovery. Vegetarian myself, but not the sort that tries to tell you what to eat, nor do I require weird meat substitutes, and I am overall an adventurous eater and general foodie.

Seeking a clean-shaven date (and possible mate, but hey, one thing at a time!) who is not presently married, practices good dental care, recycles, is physically passionate and shares my joy in simply being alive, and with real luck, also finds the human condition in general as funny as I do. Pets are a plus but by no means a requirement. I am approved for use with children, albeit little experienced.

If you find that you often get asked for directions even when you have no idea where you are - and regardless of whether or not you speak the language - we will probably get along very well! Even better if you're likely to say "Yes," should I ask, "Wanna go to Santa Fe this weekend?"

On the other hand, if you tend to cross your arms a lot, or startle easily, we probably won't get along. And it might be an "auto-no" for you that I will not get on a motorcycle (though if you want to, all you'll hear about it from me is, "Have a good time!").

For a first date, I think casual is nice, and outdoors, ideal. How about a hike and a hot chocolate? Bring your dog, if you have one! I'll bring the hot chocolate. Or we could get a drink at the nearby dive after moseying along the beach near me.
