My biggest "hobby" is university. I am also interested in fish-keeping, gardening, and baking. I am also a moderate sci-fi geek. I fully admit to not only enjoying, but also actively seeking out TV shows like Dr. Who, and any kind of Star Trek. I have also delved into the realm of what I think is probably the most brilliant author to have ever existed. Or at least been published. Jasper Fforde. I highly recommend him to anybody who had to study literature at any point. He adds so many terrific dimensions to the characters he steals. I also have played piano since grade 4, and now enjoy just fooling around on the keyboard once in a while.

I am hoping to eventually do a masters degree in either plant cell biology or ecology.

I listen to all kinds of music, but I've found that I really enjoy the **NEW** CBC2, which really surprised me. I've played clarinet, tenor sax, and piano (as mentioned above), which I think has made me open to pretty much any genre of music... Well... I'll at least **TRY** any genre. A small sample from music collection would include T&S, the Stars, MJ, Manteca, Great Lake Swimmers, Metric, Kaki King, Weather Report, Ella Fitzgerald, pretty much any soundtrack to a musical, and, somewhat to my embarrassment, the sugar-pop song of the season.

I am quiet and a good listener, but a little shy. Most of all I am loyal. The most significant thing for me is to continue to learn and to experience throughout my lifetime.

As an aside: Is anybody else irritated by the advertisement for "Men who think you're hot" search option? Cause you would think POF would filter better. Lol.

Uhh... It doesn't matter as long as it's fun. The first date TOTALLY depends on the people going on the date.
