I enjoy reading, crossword puzzle, game and trivia nights with friends. I love going to sporting events and watching them on television. I enjoy long dinners with good wine and even better conversation. I am learning to love running and working out.

To give you some sense of my true personality a friend of mine recently said she loves talking to me because I am one of the few people she knows with whom she can have a truly intelligent conversation about superficial things. Based on the types of music, movies, books and television I enjoy this statement rings very true. I like everything from rap, jazz, r&b and classical in the music genre. As far as movies go I will watch anything as long as it doesn't involve blood and guts. My taste in books ranges any where from Gone With the Wind and the Twilight series to autobiographies and historical fiction. (notice I wrote fiction NOT historical romance). Wow I ran out of room. I think good first dates involve meeting some where that allows for good conversation, but also allows for options depending on how the first part of the meeting goes. I generally don't like to be joined by a "wing man" on a first date. My number one requirement for a first date is that no one receives an "emergency" phone call from family or friends.
