It takes two to be friends, two to be lovers. You know you have it made, when one’s the same as the other. Stephen Stills wrote those lines, and I know I’ll have it made when I have that special connection where we can’t wait to see or talk to each other because it will make a good day that much better.

Grew up in the Midwest (great place to grow up, couldn’t wait to get out), where I received a business degree, with minors in art history, political science, and being away from home for the first time. Choose to live in the Bay Area for the healthy, liberal lifestyle, and the heightened social awareness.

My 15 year marriage didn’t work out, but the union resulted in two wonderful sons, 14 and 12, who are my focus roughly half of the time. I love being a dad, and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend with my boys. Even though the suburbs don’t suit my personality, Moraga is a great place to raise kids. I get along reasonably well with my ex, as we’re more focused on what’s right for our children than what went wrong in the past.

The other half of the time I get to indulge in what I enjoy, which is being physically active and mentally stimulated. First choice is always my road bike, but I also enjoy backpacking, mountain biking, hiking, sailing and golf. I also love checking out all the Bay Area has to offer, from live music, to sporting events, to art exhibits, theatre and performing arts events.

Friends would say I’m intelligent, conscientious, fun-loving, adventurous, open minded, sensitive and young at heart. While I enjoy my job, it doesn’t define who I am. I’ve been fortunate to live all over the U.S. and fortunate to travel extensively overseas, including three separate trips, two of them just under a year, in Europe, the Middle East and across Asia. I prefer to collect memories and experiences, versus material things. I’m equally comfortable in a suit and tie, jeans and a t-shirt, or athletic gear, with a good day often involving at least a few wardrobe changes.

I’m looking to find a relatively fit, open minded and somewhat eccentric woman who has had enough life experiences to be confident about who they are and who can introduce me to new places and new things. I have an appreciation for a warped of humor, and for someone who is open to heading off of the beaten path.
