Hello, let me just say that I'm really age 49, so there you go...Basically I'm looking for someone who I click with and can share life moments with. I have a few interests it would be nice to meet someone to share these with. I'm a foodie so I enjoy trying different restaurants and types of foods. I live in the Los Feliz/Silverlake area so there are plenty of great restaurants to explore. I also enjoy doing yoga and hiking or jogging the trails at Griffith Park. I tend to be attracted to women who have a fitness lifestyle without being fanatic about it, you know, someone who can still eat a cheese hamburger or pizza with me, but overall makes healthful choices. I'm always buying tickets for something: jazz or R&B concerts, musicals, opera, sporting events, I really have many interests and totally support the arts and humanities. I have a great career at UCLA. My job is bureaucratic in nature but I enjoy it and am surrounded by great colleagues and clientele. For over 20 years I did work with the developmentally disabled on Saturdays, but due to the recent state budget crisis we have lost our funding for transportation and so the program is on indefinite hiatus. But I do pick up some of my favorite clients a couple of times per month and do an outing. My special needs clients are like family to me and I need to keep in touch. I'm divorced with no children, although I love kids and am a kid at heart. If you have children this is not a problem so long as they are good kids. Anyway, I realize it takes time to cultivate a healthy relationship, but I'm glad to put in the effort for the right woman.

I'm pretty open to first date things to do. I like "activity" dates like taking the MTA Red Line subway or Gold Line into Hollywood, Little Tokyo, China Town, or Downtown LA and spend the day as a tourist. Maybe hit one of the contemporary museums and eat at a downtown historic restaurant like Cliftons or Coles French Dip, or something more contemporary yet edgy like the Nickel Diner. The MTA rail system stops at many interesting venues and eateries. Another activity would be to go on a hike or up to the Griffith Park Observatory, or wine tasting at San Antonio Winery. I mean Let's have some fun while we're getting to know each other! But if you're more comfortable with the traditional first date outing of dining out or meeting for drinks, then I'm cool with that. But once we begin dating on a regular basis you better know that we're going on some adventures baby!
