I am someone who isn't afraid to show affection, hold hands, and stare longingly into a man’s eyes and know that in a crowded room of beautiful people, he only has eyes for me. I want to know that by giving my heart to you, you will protect and treasure the gift that it is. Humor is extremely important. I want a man who can make me laugh more than cry. I am honest to a fault and it sometimes gets me in trouble. I have no room in my life for liars and cheats. I have had some painful and less than productive relationships in the past, I hope to keep that in the past. I want to go forward with only positive…it’s what I deserve! I just haven’t found the one yet so I am living on my own.

I have an awesome group of friends and my sister is my best friend. I do not need a man to complete me but I would be lying if I said I didn’t WANT someone in my life to share life’s adventures. Right now, the man in my life is my 3 year old nephew who thinks his aunt is a rockstar!

I am a sixth grade science teacher. I enjoy travel, the beach, reading, spending time with family and friends, cooking, dining out, movies, Terps basketball/football (I have season tix),people watching, reality tv and seeing the sites wherever I am. I just recently rescued a quaker parrot who is infamous for endless hours of entertainment

I have a serious career and no, I don't have off June, July and August. Sorry I ruined your punchline! Anyone who thinks teaching is not stressful has never been trapped in a school building with a 1000 adolescents! I would like a man who is career oriented who knows what he wants both in his professional and personal life. I want kids one day so if you are not sure, can’t, don’t want kids…please move on. I know I am 38 years old but no one will take that possibility away from me.

Finally, sarcastic men welcome and appreciated! I hope you can handle mine which tends to be the self-deprecating kind and often very playful! I tend to sit back and watch (see above) so I do not initiate emails as much as I would like to. I may be timid to begin a correspondence but I am in no way timid in the way I live my life;)
