While I don't get much time off, when I can I like to go camping or for shorter outings, visit the beach around sundown and build the biggest bonfire there. Whiskey is my favorite vice and I enjoy it regardless if it comes from Canada or Tennesee. Meeting someone to do those things with is my main reason for being on this site. Especially since my 13yr old son does not seem so enthusiastic about doing them with me... when he was 10 it was great but now it seems as though hanging out with mom is no longer his idea of a good time. Imagine that.
I work full time and odd hours but manage to make time for a life outside of that. All work and no play...not for me. I like to use the time off I get to the fullest. When that is not possible I like to spend it puttering in my little workshop on little projects that are sometimes a success or when they are not at least it gives me something to laugh about.
I would love to be able to someday find a place where I could have a country lifestyle and a horse again. In high school I had appaloosas and loved exploring the hills of Bonsall and the backbay area of Irvine with my horse and a borrowed dog I dubbed Rebel. To be able to grow my own fruit and tomatoes so that they actually taste the way they were meant to is something I would love to learn. Life is funny not too long after I updated my profile expressing my hopes for a country lifestyle I met someone who lives it lucky me! Putting away my fishing gear now and enjoying life! First dates should be something you don't get to do every day, horseback riding or visiting the fair. Fishing would be great fun, four wheeling, or a picnic....hmmm seems to be a pattern in all that. Given the time available however it is more likely just meeting for a drink somewhere to see if we want stay for dinner or jump back in the pond :- )
