I have been divorced for three years now and I have two grown children that are an important part of my life. I am not interested in having any more children of my own, but I would be willing to welcome someone else's children into my life. I am open minded and I enjoy trying new things. I am currently attending the U of I full-time. I am not religious, but I am spiritual. I love to dance ~ fast or slow and I have even taken a few ballroom dancing lessons. I would enjoy taking more lessons with a partner that has interest. Light rock is my music of preference, but I enjoy listening to almost anything except rap. I am a hopeful romantic! I like to cuddle and watch lightning storms (inside where it is safe) and star gaze on cool nights. I enjoy spending time with people and getting to know them. I try to maintain an attitude of gratitude and know that everything happens for a reason. I believe that an important part of life is about learning how to be in relationship. I am looking for friendship first. I know that I'm not perfect and I'm not looking for perfection as I believe that we are all works in progress. I am, however, looking for someone who is mature, stable and introspective. I also feel that communication skills are one of the keys to a fulfilling relationship.
