We all have a path to follow in life. While others are blundering on straight ahead with their nose buried in a map, I'm generally the one getting lost, trying different routes... and having a grand ol' time with whatever I run across.

So as you may guess, I have a wide variety of interests and can have a good time no matter what I'm doing... although I'm a fairly suburban cat so I'll probably be more at home doing something that you can wear jeans to than a suit.

Like the box says, I'm a software developer for a social networking application company. I like it. I don't really consider myself a nerd, though, despite the propensity for Monty Python, MST3K, and Futurama. Well, at least not in the stereotypical sense.

I love music, mostly of the classic rock and metal variety; I'm a huge fan of Guns n' Roses and Velvet Revolver as well as Boston, but I also love The Monkees and Puffy Amiyumi. My music collection is huge and varied... although it's mostly stuff from years gone by.

Speaking of loving music, I write it, as well as play it. I'm strictly an amateur, but I do dabble in home recording.

My ideal woman? I'm not picky. Stable, sane, outgoing. Got her shiznit together, as it were; positive, fun-loving, and above all... intelligent and unique. I like quirky and low maintenance women with a flair for creativity. Bonus points if you can sing or play an instrument, or are an artist of some sort.

I only have two real turn-offs; I hate piercings and prefer non-smokers.

First date? Oh, who knows? It's probably unique to each person. I try to figure out what someone would like, and then suggest we do that. I've had first dates at movies, mini-golf, Starbucks... all sorts of places. Let me know what tickles you and I'll see to it that you're in stitches.
