Aloha. I believe that you get what you give. I take excellent care of myself in both mind, body, and spirit. I hope the same goes for you.

If you surf, paddle outrigger, sail, or swim, then you have my undivided attention. I was raised a water baby, so I am drawn to the ocean and all the activities related to it. I play tennis too. I practice yoga regularly. I'm a spiritual person but not a religious person. I would say that the ocean is my "church" if you will. Life is about balance and moderation for me. I don't sweat the small stuff and usually let things roll off my shoulder.

I'm part Hawaiian, Chinese, Scottish, and German. Culturally, I'm into a myriad of different customs and cuisines. I’ve lived in California for about 13 years now. Seven of those years have been spent in beautiful Santa Barbara. SB reminds me of the island culture that I grew up with in Hawaii, so I feel at home. I spent half of my childhood growing up in Hawaii and the other half in Virginia.

Last year, I traveled to Thailand and Bali for a month and had an amazing time. This past September, I traveled to Cuba for a few weeks. What an eye-opening experience! Next year, I'm sailing the Greek isles ; ) I equate traveling to reading a book on your own life. Each place is like a new chapter. You open it up and experience the twists & turns, challenges, and undiscovered parts of yourself.

Being a firefighter affords me a unique lifestyle. I like the camaraderie and teamwork plus the satisfaction of helping people! That's very important to me. The schedule isn't bad either. It allows me to have time to explore, travel, meet interesting people, workout, and have fun. But, it would be twice as enjoyable if I could share the good times with someone, who I resonate with on all levels.

People! People peek my interest. Especially those who are grounded, excellent communicators, engaging, energetic, and have depth. Not into wall-flowers or shy types. Superficial peeps are a turn-off. I appreciate women, who are social, spontaneous, fun, and independent.

I am very giving, forgiving, and accepting. I don't settle; however, I am open to new chapters in life that bring on growth and discovery.
