2. Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and why?

Friends who have forced me to expand my horizons and open my mind to the world as a whole. From them I have became a better person with a lust for knowledge and life. And Bill Cosby, because he just owns, I mean really. Oh and I can impersonate him kind of....

3. What are three of your BEST life-skills?

Using humor to make friends laugh
Continuing to expand my knowledge and awareness
Understanding local, national, and world events

4. What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?

Someone with an open mind who accepts me for who I am and can be honest, fun, and loyal while enjoying life. The absolute MOST important quality I am looking for in a woman is that she does NOT like NASCAR! Oh come on it was a joke.... sort of... nahhh not really.

5. Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?

People notice that I am generally friendly and polite, slightly shy at times, but willing to open up once conversation has taken off. They also notice I am a 55 year old black man from Connecticut at heart. Wait scratch that last one....

6. What is the ONE thing that people DON'T notice about you right away that you WISH they WOULD?

Oh this is easy, I WISH people would notice that I really am the reincarnation of Alexander the Great. I mean really... how dare they not notice. Don't I just look like the type of guy who would lead legions of Macedonian, Greek, and Persian soldiers across the deserts of Southwest and Central Asia? Get your eyes checked people it should be obvious!

7. How do you typically spend your leisure time?

I enjoy spending time with friends by going to sporting events or watching movies. Playing board or video games with friends or family. Making comedy parodies or joking around with friends. Recording or listening to music. I also like to sit down and really have a good think... you know about life and spandex. Who invented spandex and why? Deep stuff...

8. Describe one thing about yourself that only your best friends know.

My best friends know that my sense of humor takes some time to get fully used to, but once they get to know me they seem to appreciate it. For instance, I like to take serious foreign films and replace the subtitles with comedy text. Think I am joking? Not this time, go figure. I also am incredibly sarcastic on dating site profiles, I think the females dig it, which is why I get loads of replies and have to try other sites out. Rock on!

9. Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you?

I love to be creative. I want to be creative for a living. I can't draw though. Hmm the quest goes on and on to find some new and inventive way to earn a living through creativity. Some say be a comedian, but I say where's the money in that? They say doing shows, and I respond shows are for suckers. And they nod in agreement. Lesson learned.
