I'm Irish, I will deal with things being wrong for the rest of my life!!!

For those that hate reading, here is my short version in a sentence or so:

I am looking for someone with 2 sides: Motivated to succeed/educated and has their own profession, but the other half of the time they can be that fun and out going girl. Work hard and play hard type. Someone that wouldn't mind staying in, but also wouldn't mind going out on a pub crawl and everything in between. Maybe someone that wouldn't mind going flying/camping but on the flip side wouldn't mind getting dressed to the 9's and going out on the town for the night in style. Basically a well balanced and happy person - if you are depressing or sad don't bother reading the rest.

I just moved back from Boston and I am looking for friends, with hope of finding someone for a long term relationship if we click.

I am originally from Chicago but have been gone for the last 10 years or so with work and school. I have lived everywhere from England to Florida to St. Louis and I am glad to finally be home. I am first generation American who comes from a large Irish Family and I am the middle of 7.

I'd say I have pretty much done at least everything once, experienced more than most people my age and looking to meet someone I can spend the rest of my life with. This isn't the fairly tale meeting I was hoping for, but I truly believe its the journey that matters. I know there has to be someone out there that I can be both emotionally & physically attracted to that wants the same things.

WHAT I NEED: YOU to be my best friend, YOU to be my equal partner, YOU to know that I can't stand to be away from YOU even for a minute without thinking about YOU. YOU to understand that we will have problems and that we CAN & WILL get through them by talking to each other. YOU will tell me when something is bothering YOU even if it seems to be the littlest of things. YOU to know that I can't read your mind but wish I could. I need to trust YOU with my darkest secrets. If we rob a bank together and "if" they catch us and put us in separate rooms, I need to know and YOU to know that regardless off what is said, they can't turn us against each other and we will truly do anything to protect what we have. YOU to challenge me & make me a better person. YOU to know that it's OK to be angry and upset, as long as YOU put in as much effort as it took to get angry into fixing the issue. YOU want to be around my family & friends as I want to be around the people that are important to YOU. YOU to know that I never want to go out on the town without YOU, because I want to share every single moment I can with YOU being life is too short and we never know when it will end. YOU know that I will treat YOU the way I want to be treated. Most importantly, I need YOU to know that you can tell me anything, and that its better to have me upset for awhile than to lie to me and break the special bond that keeps people together, not love, but trust. Saying YOU love me isn't really what I need, what I need is for YOU to show me through your actions. Hearing I love you is nice, but they are just words at the end of the day. I want someone who shows it through their actions.

I work long hours but I always make time for what is important to me regardless of my work. Maybe its just bringing YOU lunch at work because I know I wont be home until late, but I put the effort in and I would like that same returned. I am down to earth and don't want to wake up one day and just be going through the motions of life. I know that the excitement can last in a relationship and I think we can all agree that anything in life worthwhile, probably took some effort and work, on a daily basis. I want someone that has follow through and does what they say they are going to do.

My ultimate goal is to meet my equal, someone I can marry and have children with. I won't rush into marriage just for the sake that I want to be a young father and want to have many kids, but if its right, I think we will both know. I am Catholic so I don't believe in divorce as many seem to these days. I also don't believe staying in a relationship just to stay in it, so I really am looking for my soul-mate. Finally, I need someone who knows their surroundings and can be professional when needed, and silly when appropriate.

I would like to find someone that is confident, attractive in my eyes, motivated to succeed, and wants to find their soul-mate and just start making memories forever.

A little about me: I played soccer in college, went to boot camp at Fort Knox, have taken pilot lessons, lived in another country, I have run a couple of my own businesses, love dabbling in real estate, and always looking to better myself whether through personal or professional goals. Most importantly I am a flight risk. What I mean by that is I love taking off for weekend trips and pushing the envelope in any way I can, I just need someone that has a strong enough foundation as their own person, but not afraid to be off the wall spontaneous and try anything or atleast consider it.
