Hi! I'm Jesse. I am originally from Tiffin, Ohio (and kudos to you if you know where that is). I moved down here last April and now work for the State of Ohio. I like the job a lot and I am really glad to be down here in Columbus now.

About me:
...As far as my interests, music tops the list. I would have to say that Metal and Alternative are my favorite genres, but I've also been known to listen to Jazz, Blues, Classical, some hip-hop and a little country. I've been in bands before as a singer and guitarist and have traveled as far as Cartagena, Spain to play. I have plans in the next year to start up a band with my brother as well.
...I love sports. I played soccer and baseball in school, and played soccer for my ship while I was in the Navy. I am a dedicated Cleveland fan and a "hometown" Columbus fan.
...I love to study. I read a lot, whether it be books, websites or wikipedia. I always love to learn something new. I look forward to meeting someone who can introduce me to new things, as well. I love people... their opinions, people watching, conversation... even if sometimes they are completely insane or just plain horrifing. Sometimes those are the most interesting.
...I love to be romantic! I love the quiet solitude of being at home and making dinner for someone special and just watching a movie, as much as, I like being out on the town and raising a little hell with that very same someone special.
...I was in the Navy and I'm very proud of my time that I spent there. While I was there I was in Deck Department (which are kind of like the Navy grunts) and studied Journalism as well. I like to shake random soldiers and sailors hands. It gave me a sense of pride when veterans offered the same to me, and I like carrying on the tradition.

What I am looking for:
...A bright woman, whom I am attracted to mind, body and soul. I look forward to having the American Dream someday (in a realistic time period, though, no rush). I would like to someday have more children. My daughter is now almost 17 (Feb) and although she is the "apple of my eye," she is about to join the grown-ups and move ahead with her life. I'd just love the chance to be a great father all over again from start to finish and find someone that has that same aspiration and love for family.
...With respect, I have no tolerance for liars. Your best bet with me is to always be honest. I want someone that knows that just because we don't agree sometimes that it isn't the end of the world. I think that's what makes a relationship work. Sometimes disagreements mean communication. Communication is always a good trait to have in a relationship!

Education:
...I feel like there has to be a disclaimer as far as what I wrote down for my "Smarts." I have an Associate's Degree in Social and Behavioral Science. I'm a few credits shy of a Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice. That is something I would like to finish someday, but as of now, in order to feel financially responsible I have put my education on hold.

So all in all that is what I'm all about. I would love to chat with anyone that wants to, but I look forward to the day when I can permanently delete my profile and be a POF success story! (lol, I know... I meant it to be goofy and cliche.)

First dates can be difficult. You don't want to them to be dull, but you don't want to go on longer than they need to if they don't work out. I suggest just a initial hang out to talk and get to know each other. From there, well hopefully it just gets better. I have a few ideas, but it probably would depend on who I was with. :)
