I've been pretty laid back the last few years - working and studying for various architect's exams but now I have the urge to go out and try new things. Most of my friends I used to hang out with have either moved away from the Bay Area or have settled down so I'm definitely looking to expand my social circle.

I'm really looking for someone I can have fun with and hang out- going out to new places and new cities or just trying out new things and new restaurants. Although I've traveled by myself quite often it's definitely a lot more fun with someone to share the trip and the costs.

On the weekends, I'm not inclined to going out to the trendiest and crowded bars but I do like drinking with people I like spending time with.

I also like to think that I'm good, giving and game for anything but safety certainly comes first.

Anyways, I am planning on leaving California and moving to Honolulu in the next few years. Anybody want to come along?

First dates are mainly about introductions so I'd like to meet up somewhere for a snack or coffee. We'd talk for a bit, see how things go and if there's real chemistry maybe we'd hit up a real restaurant afterwards.

I'm not picky when it comes too food, but I do like spicy dishes - Thai food, Indian, real Mexican food are all fine by me. I'm thinking we'd talk and get to know each other better.

After dinner, who knows? It all depends on the chemistry with the guy. However, on first dates I tend to err on the side of caution.
