I have a diverse scope of hobbies including gardening, maintaining my house, growing flowers, making small items out of wood being a carpenter for a few years. I'm not ready to sit & watch the sun set in my life for I have a lot of energy left and I stay quite active around here. I also work with a rehab center helping the down and outers to get back on their feet. I teach music and play the piano and other instruments. I like country and western music thats not too sad and depressing. Love to go on week-end trips out of town but hate going by myself. I have no baggage to tote with me so I'm pretty much ready to master other doors that may open to me. I'm not a couch potatoe, but I do like the news channels and very interested in football as it comes our way in the fall. If, your interested in my world then great but, sitting on our butt all the time is not going to be part of it...

My prefered first date would be to meet and eat at a local public eatery for lunch. (Outback, Olive Garden, Steak houses or Tex-Mex places) I prefer the lunch time because of the fear factor of first time meeting someone. Both of us must feel safe and confortable at first and after that we could plan other ventures of mutual interest. The more local we are the better chance of us meeting for lunch. I don't rush into any relationship. Just keep it friendly and simple.
