First off my name is James. I have been thinking about what I could write to stand out or to show how I am different than the other guys on here. So let's be honest, I'm not on here because I can't pick a girl up, I'm not on here because I'm anti-social. I love meeting new people and I love talking to people. I recently moved back here from DC in February. My ex broke my heart and I haven't really wanted to date until recently. So I went out to the bars and talked to quite a few people, but then realized that I am not looking to date a bar hopper.

I'm 32 years old, and although I do like going to the bars for a drink, I don't want to live at one. So what about me, who am I and can I express it in a way that doesn't sound****?

I'm a tall and good looking guy. I have extremely high morals and go to church once a week at the Catholic church St. Barnabas. I love my family and they are very important to me. I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter and would prefer to date someone with a child, for they are the ones that will fully understand a parent-child love without feeling left out. I see my daughter every other weekend and for the full month of July she is with me. I am extremely honest and happy with my life, but I do get lonely and it would be nice to talk to more people.

I am definitely a one woman man, when I give my heart, they alone have it. I would expect the same. I am completely trustworthy and can honestly say that I am a good guy.

What am I looking for? I'm looking for happiness and that can come in many different ways. I am not going to say that I have a specific set of guidelines. I would like to be with someone that takes care of themselves, but I'm 32 and can admit that I have let myself go a little through this breakup. I want someone that is happy with who they are. Someone as confident as I am. I am not a jealous person and I don't think that I would like someone that was. I do want to be attracted to someone, but there are many ways to be attracted to someone.

Finances: The stock market has controlled my income these past 4 years. I'm not broke, but I'm not as well off as I was 8 months ago. When the stock market increases so will I. I have been very blessed with the animation of money. Money slips in and out of my hands on a daily basis. At the same point last year I traveled to Amsterdam, Rome, Florence, Venice, Croatia, and Athens. I love to travel and it will not take me long to get there again. In me saying this, I do not want someone that needs money to be happy. I will provide a wonderful life, but I don't want what happened recently to happen again. I have received a lot of emails from wonderful people. I have decided that I am still not ready to date. I have a lot to do before I'm ready to make anymore of a commitment. I do apologize for not returning emails, I'm just not ready. It's been 10 months since my breakup and have been out with another wonderful person, but have decided that I am not ready to give it my all just yet. I have to get things straightened out first.
