Just a quick update to say that I am currently dating someone so am looking for friends only at this point. I am enthusiastic, energetic, love to laugh and have lots of interests. I like to learn new things and find new places. I collect old things and love working them into my home and yard. I have a great group of friends and a great family but I don't think you can have too many friends, so here I am. In all honesty, I am hoping to eventually find that special someone with whom I can share experiences in the long term. I spent nearly 10 years working in Alberta and moved home to Cape Breton in 2006 to settle down and really start living life, and the pieces are falling together quite nicely. But it would be really great to find a nice guy who knows how to treat me right (and whom I could treat right!). I don't spend alot of time in front of the computer because I lead maintain an active lifestyle but will try to check in here once a week or so, but as winter is coming, I will crave nights in front of the tv or computer or a fireplace. I was raised with good morals and work ethic, kind of an old-fashioned girl, with a good heart and head on my shoulders. I am looking for a man with similar values and a desire to live life to the fullest while at the same time looking towards the future. Classic Rock is my ultimate favorite type of music but I like pretty much anything. I am an optimist and believe that what is meant to be will be.

I am fairly flexible on first date ideas. I enjoy live music so a bar is an acceptable option but I am also into quieter spots which make getting to know someone easier. So a nice coffee shop experience or a meal at restaurant works too.
